Alexander Academy Performing Company
Alexander Academy expanded in September 2012 by establishing the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Alexander Academy Performing Company.
The Company's mission is to provide accessible, high-quality dance instruction and performance opportunities to the Maui community. Through the art and discipline of dance, we empower students to embody the aloha spirit, identify their self-respect and compassion, and feel connection. Our values develop socially responsible citizens through connection between mind, body and community.
Performing Company offers scholarships to dancers who are unable to perform due to financial barriers, Guest Artists, Fundraising to support cost of overehead production including costuming and theater rentals.
