Cherisse Eisenberg

Born and raised in San Francisco, Cherisse was born exuding the rhythmic movement of dance in her blood. She has since honed her skills in the ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary genres. Her passion for Latin and African dance was ignited by dance director Elvia Marta at School of the Arts (San Francisco) and has trained with world renowned dance companies. She has danced with Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet program, Joti Singh’s Bollywood dance and drum company (Duniya), Raissa Simpson’s PUSH, Saki Suto’s Jazz dance group, and Valerie Watson’s Afro-Haitian dance ensemble just to name a few.

 

Cherisse is thrilled to be part of Maui’s vibrant dance community and elated to continue her journey of learning and teaching dance with AAPA.
