Jennifer became the youngest Costume Workroom Supervisor in her union, the Motion Picture Costumers, Local 705. She supervised a workroom staff of up to 25 people at a time on multiple productions at once. She opened an atelier in Makawao, working with clients on sewing and design projects, including custom wedding gown design. She made costumes for White Hawaiian with Eric Gilliom, and was Costume Director for The Nutcracker at Alexander Academy. In 2020, Jennifer founded The Sewing Hui, a group of volunteers that sew together for the Maui community. She is a lifelong learner in all things relating to fashion, costume design, theater and dance. She is thrilled to be collaborating with AAPA on costumes for their productions.
