Allyson Swaney

Al Swaney is from Phoenix, Arizona where she trained at Elite Dance Academy under director, Gia Waxman. She has been teaching ballet for 13 years. Although she has experience in Jazz and Contemporary as well, Ballet is her passion. Some of her favorite roles include: Swanilda in Coppelia, Princess Florine in Sleeping Beauty, and Spanish in the Nutcracker. She went on to dance at Brigham Young University-Idaho for 1 year, and then transferred to Brigham Young University-Hawaii. She later moved to California where she continued to teach ballet classes and choreograph. 

 

Al enjoys working as a part-time Personal Chef and cooks for clients all over the island. She moved here 2 years ago with her husband and they love surfing together every weekend. She is excited to continue teaching ballet to share her love of dance with others.
